Every year, BAMSL marks the start of the bar year with a Law Day celebration and annual meeting. The celebration includes an awards ceremony, a swearing-in of the incoming board of governors and a luncheon featuring a keynote speaker. The speaker this year is Susan N. Herman, the president of the ACLU from 2008-2021 and the inaugural Ruth Bader Ginsburg Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School.

“We are looking forward to honoring these outstanding attorneys and judges who have made such outstanding contributions to the legal profession as well as BAMSL,” said Untress “Trez” Quinn, president BAMSL. “We are proud to call them part of our BAMSL community.”
