If the St Louis Central Library downtown, isn’t already a fabulous museum and grand stand. It has added a place of exhibition and panache to its portfolio.
I had the pleasure of popping in to use the printer and stumbled upon some amazing art work. Yet, no one is too surprised when it comes to fine exhibits at the library.
And, there is always something standing gloriously in the grand hall or in corridors that catches anyone’s eyes. So, you can’t miss the exciting displays as you walk out the main entrance.
I had to come back inside, because I didn’t catch on to what I thought I was looking at. It was pure dazzle to see the fabulous black colored mannequins on display.
The amazing pieces of Avant-Garde fashion on display throughout Central Library. As part of the IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Gateway Chapter’s 2021 fashion show.
Each piece was designed and created by local architectural and design firms. With only unconventional materials such as carpeting, glass, tile, upholstery and light fixtures.
The show, themed Rockin’ the Runway, was held on November 4 at the Pageant.
You can catch the exhibit which is open to the public during normal library hours.
