Dr. Lawrence Jones, Ph.D. is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biotechnology Health Management and Care LLC in Pikesville, MD. He earned his doctorate from Regent University in the School of Business and Leadership with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Leadership. His doctoral research explored “An Exploratory Quantitative Comparison of Direct Reports’ Perceptions of Entrepreneurial Leadership of Biotechnology Founders Versus Nonbiotechnology Founders.” Dr. Jones tested for empirical evidence to distinguish the entrepreneurial leadership behaviors of the biotech entrepreneur. He is also a graduate of Webster University with a B.A. in biology, a graduate of the Masters in Biotechnology program from the Johns Hopkins University and a graduate of the University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC) Masters in Public Policy. 

Dr. Jones has received Certificates in Entrepreneurship from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Innovate Program and in Business Development from the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps lean customer discovery program.  He also completed additional continued education training through Harvard School of Medicine. His vast professional employment experiences by way of laboratory technical positions from the bench to managerial level positions.  

His work expertise spans over time  at the Washington University School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and in industry via the Rockville, Maryland bio space arena with the BioReliance Corporation and in consulting for emerging start-up bioengineering technologies. He is also a member of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE). 

Dr. Jones also the Chief Science  Officer for newly created Idhni Incorporated, a digital health company in Baltimore, MD.  Idhini’s digital health platform captures health related attitudes sentiments and voices of the BIPOC community to create access to healthy options through positive health outcomes and health literacy.

Currently, I’m a Dynasty Television/Consulting team member, while working as a Blogger and second in-command Editor for The Narrative Matters. Recently, I’ve accepted an honor in India for my work as a reality TV show director in St Louis, and nomination for Best Black Fiction Writer in New Orleans.

I love to walk, write and listen to jazz music. My favorite foods are spicy omelets, stuffed pork, jalapeno braised chicken wings.

I’m the founder and C.E.O. of Eating as an Act of Worship Ministries (EAW Ministries), which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching the biblical principles regarding the body, dieting, exercising and maintaining a healthy body for the glory of God.

Through my ministry, I’ve authored a book, Eating as an Act of Worship book series, and I teach a twelve-week EAW Ministries Health and Fitness Course. Also, I write the EAW Ministries Health and Fitness Column which has been published by The Narrative Matters, Back2Eden News Magazine, Godlock Magazine and Kingdom News Today Magazine.

Every Saturday morning, you can listen to the EAW Ministries Radio Show on StudioW Buzz in Richmond, VA, Victory 95.3 FM, 100.9 FM and 1530 AM in Little Rock, AR and DFW Den Radio Station, which is an internet radio station. Most recently, I became the hostess and executive producer of the Eating as an Act of Worship Ministries Health and Fitness Television Show, which airs on HMS in Houston, TX on Comcast 17 and AT&T Uverse 99. Also, the show is live streamed at www.hmstv.org.

Additionally, I’m a practicing attorney who has been married for 23 years. My husband and I have two children.
