The ReMix Awards Show was founded by St. Louis’ own The Newsletter 2005 Promotions, a social media icon and publishing sagacity. Overall, from its humble beginnings in 2008, shut down due to Covid-19, and the last one presented in 2021. Remarkably, the ReMix Awards Show has been the longest running marketing based, social media, Independent recognition ceremony in the Midwest.

Above all, The ReMix brought together night clubs, talents, and other business professionals, who otherwise would not have ever crossed path with one another.

Many local venues in St. Louis saw the awards show as a way to market their business, as welll as meet new customers. The Remix was so popular through the years that some venues demanded that they hosted it again.

Emphatically, some venues that are no longer operating, did quite well hosting events such as The ReMix. Last, The ReMix gave back to the homelessness initiatives, one year all proceeds were handed out on the streets to assist several shelters with food and supplies.

Traffic Music Awards:

In addition, it is said to be the longest running ceremony just a season over the late Tony Joseph’s Traffic Music Awards. The Traffic Music Awards also recognized locals in the neighborhood, all in a voting process.

Voting:

The ReMix Awards never used a voting process, just a selected committee. Because it was found that the voting process, especially on Facebook, tended to favor those with more followers. Hence, The ReMix Awards has always been a unique brand within itself.
