The WNBA season kicked off recently, and some of the league’s best teams have at least one win under their belts. After an exciting 2025 season, the league is on the rise. Players are performing at a high level, and in the end, a talented group will win it all.

Last year’s champion was a familiar face, and this year, another squad may add its name to league history. This is an excellent time for WNBA fans, and as the season progresses, there will be a few teams to keep an eye on. With that said, here are three teams that can win it all.

1.) Las Vegas Aces

The Las Vegas Aces won their third championship last year, as they swept the Phoenix Mercury. A’ja Wilson led the team to victory, as she won her second Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP). She controlled the series, and by the end of the season, she had added several awards to her resume.

The Aces brought in some new faces, and they will give them a boost on both ends of the floor. Brianna Turner is a defensive specialist, and in the past, she made the WNBA All-Defensive First Team. She is a good fit, and she could help them win a championship. The Aces also added Chennedy Carter, and she can score with ease. Carter last played for the Chicago Sky in 2024, and since then, she has been active overseas. The Aces gave her another shot at the WNBA, and chances are, she will make the most of it.

Las Vegas is in a good place, and with all of the talent on the roster, another championship is within reach.

2.) New York Liberty

The New York Liberty won a championship in 2024, and this year, they have a shot at winning another. New York kept its core intact, as Brenna Stewart, Jonquel Jones and Sabrina Ionescu returned. The Liberty also brought in Satou Sabally, who had a strong 2025 season with the Mercury. Sabally is out with an injury, but when she returns, the team will be even tougher.

New York was one of the best teams in the league last year, and with its playoff journey ending in the first round, this Eastern Conference team is out for revenge. The Liberty are a threat, and by the end of the season, they could have the franchise’s second championship.

3.) Atlanta Dream

The Atlanta Dream had an impressive 2025 season, and before the start of this one, they added a big name. They acquired Angel Reese in a trade, and she is off to a good start. Atlanta also has players like Allisha Gray, who was an MVP candidate last year, and Rhyne Howard, who is a three-time All-Star. The Dream were third in the 2025 standings, and this year, they could be even better.

Atlanta is in a good place, and if Reese plays her game, the Dream could give opposing teams trouble.

The WNBA is full of talent, and some of the names mentioned (and more) will do what they can to help their team win a title.
