House Votes to Decriminalize Marijuana, But will it fires up?

The bill simply calls for the reclassification of cannabis products so that it’s possession is no longer a criminal act under the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.[2] When the industry is finally formalised and regulated on a federal level, new taxes would be levied on marijuana sales and the proceeds would go to helping the communities most adversely affected by the decades-long ‘war on drugs’ that first started under the Nixon administration over half a century ago.

Nominated for best song was the Queen Bee herself Beyonce’ who performed her song from the movie King Richard called “Be alive”, the story of Richard Williams the patriarch of the Williams tennis Dynasty of Venus and Serena.  Beyonce performed the song on the tennis courts of Compton where Venus and Serena plied their early trade growing up.

Snoop Dogg Reveals he will be collaborating with worldwide sensation South Korean band BTS

The legendary American rapper Snoop Dogg officially confirmed his collaboration with BTS during the American contest red carpet. BTS is a South Korean band formed in 2010 and is popular worldwide with a large fan base. Back in January, Snoop Dogg revealed on the Mogul Talk podcast that he had received a request from global sensation K-pop artists BTS to collaborate. He also confirmed the news on his twitter page.

Finding My Way Back to My Natural Hair – PT 4

My hopes were met with relief. The first bit of great news was that I didn’t have to do another big chop! I could relax my curls and trim the processed ends away slowly. As a result, when I got the first relaxer after my Jheri Curl, my hair was the longest it had ever been! I was delighted and immediately took advantage of my newfound glory. Black girls with “real” long, straight hair were uncommon at that time, so I moved into “first place” in the hair competition amongst my peers.
