If you love pulse-pounding, gut-wrenching, keep you on the edge of your seat films, then you don’t want to miss the new film thriller, “Beast” starring mega superstar actor Idris Elba.
While sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful view in the wilderness, Idris Elba, who plays Dr. Nate Daniels, a recently widowed husband who returns to South Africa is on a vacation where he first met his wife. With his two daughters, they go to a game reserve managed by Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley), an old family friend and wildlife biologist. But what begins as a journey of excitement and healing turns into a grueling fight for survival when a massive rogue lion who survived poachers, now sees all humans as the enemy and begins stalking them and plans to destroy everything and everyone in sight.
While watching the Beast trailer, the suspense and twist and turns had me wanting to see more. The scenery and effects heighten the sense of urgency for survival. I believe this film will certainly be a hit and the trailer leaves audience members begging for more. The film has a phenomenal cast including Iyana Halley, and Leah Sava Jeffries.
The film is directed by the award-winning director “Baltasar Kormákur.” From my review, some might say it puts you in the mindset of a Jurassic Park but the action is so powerful and I suggest families go out and give this film a fair chance. I believe moviegoers will walk away from theaters with satisfaction after viewing this film.
Beast is slated to release in Theaters on August 19th.
