City of St. Louis Invites Community to PlanSTL Area 4 Launch Party
The PlanSTL Area 4 Launch Party is your opportunity to help shape the future of North St. Louis. The City of St. Louis is inviting all community members to the official kickoff of the Area 4 Neighborhood Planning Initiative. This new, community-driven process is designed to create a stronger, greener, and more connected future for your neighborhoods. Your input is vital and will help the City identify key priorities for capital improvements, develop new land-use maps, and establish evaluation criteria for future projects.
This event marks a significant step in the broader PlanSTL initiative. It aims to bring together residents, local organizations, schools, and community leaders. By collaborating, we can identify shared priorities and set long-term goals that truly reflect what the community values most.
What to Expect at the Launch Party
The launch party is more than just a meeting; it’s an interactive event where your voice can be heard. It will take place on Tuesday, December 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the O’Fallon Park Rec Complex, located at 4343 W. Florissant Ave., in Community Rooms A–C. A formal project presentation will begin at 6:30 PM, but there will be opportunities to engage throughout the evening.
To make the event accessible for everyone, dinner will be provided, and children’s activities will be available for families. This ensures you can participate fully while your kids are entertained.
Engage with the Planning Team
During the event, you will have the chance to connect directly with members of the PlanSTL planning team. This is your chance to ask questions, understand the scope of the project, and learn how your feedback will be integrated into the final plan.
Share Your Ideas and Priorities
What do you want to see in your neighborhood? This is the core question of the evening. You can share your ideas on everything from park improvements to street safety and new developments. Your perspective as a resident is the most valuable resource in this process. Your feedback will directly influence the Area 4 Neighborhood Plan.
Discover How to Stay Involved
This launch party is just the beginning. You will learn about the various opportunities to stay involved throughout the entire planning process. From future workshops to online surveys, the PlanSTL team is committed to keeping the community engaged every step of the way.
