The Pan African Think Tank is reshaping the future for African and Pan-African communities worldwide. Rooted in innovation, collaboration, and education, this unique organization brings together communities across continents to address pressing issues and foster sustainable solutions for generations to come.
What is a Think Tank?
A think tank, as defined by Dictionary.com, is a research organization aimed at solving complex problems or predicting future developments. Similarly, the Pan African Think Tank is dedicated to tackling challenges within African and Pan-African communities through collaborative research, planning, and action.
The Journey of the Pan African Think Tank
The Pan African Think Tank was established by C.Nichole, an accomplished businesswoman and global traveler. During her extensive travels to 79 countries, she witnessed a lack of historical and world geography education in certain regions, particularly in Africa and the African Diaspora. Her 2018 visit to Rocinha, Brazil, fueled an idea to bridge this gap by fostering education and unity among Africans and the global Pan-African community.
Year 1-4: Groundwork through Research and Engagement
The Think Tank’s initial focus is on connecting Pan-African communities through forums, events, and discussions. By traveling across Africa, North America, Europe, South America, and Oceania, the organization facilitates conversations via platforms such as:
- Talk radio and talk shows
- Community town halls
- University seminars
- Online discussions and live streams
The goal is to assess and identify the top ten challenges impacting Pan-African communities in these regions.
Year 5-7: Collaboration and Action
The Think Tank plans to hold a global convention, uniting leaders and organizations to prioritize and address these ten issues. They’ll focus on implementing projects for the top three concerns with the help of partnerships, fostering impactful and realistic changes.
Year 8-18: Building Youth Empowerment
The organization envisions building youth centers across Africa, designed to focus on education, technology, and entrepreneurship. These centers aim to equip the next generation with the tools and knowledge to address longstanding challenges while promoting innovative solutions.
Why Pan African Think Tank Matters
The Think Tank’s mission extends beyond addressing problems. It fosters unity among Africans and the broader Pan-African Diaspora by bridging cultural and historical divides.
