Kim started in 2001 at News 11 as an engineer. Ten years later, she had freelanced in front and behind the camera for STL-TV, the government-access station for St. Louis City. She wrote for the St. Louis Argus, St. Louis American, and Saint Louis Magazine. She also freelanced in engineering for FOX 2. in St. Louis and in July 2010, she started at FOX 2 as a multi-media reporter.
Full-time, she is an anchor and reporter for FOX 2. She is also a proud member of the Greater St. Louis Association of Black Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Radio Television Digital News Association.
