The Artists United Network is thrilled to announce the return of the M.O.-A.M. Media Festival (The Mother of All Movies), a three-day extravaganza of film, music, and storytelling that promises to captivate creators and audiences alike. Taking place from December 5–7, 2025, at the iconic Westport Playhouse in St. Louis, this second annual festival is set to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, resilience, and community.
A Platform for Storytellers and Visionaries
The M.O.-A.M. Media Festival is more than just an event—it’s a movement. Designed to bring together filmmakers, musicians, and creators from all walks of life, the festival offers a unique opportunity to showcase talent, foster connections, and celebrate the power of storytelling. Submissions are now open exclusively on FilmFreeway, inviting creators to share their work and compete for prestigious awards.
Honoring Creativity and Resilience
This year’s festival will shine a spotlight on both established and emerging voices in the arts. A variety of awards will be presented, including:

Impact Award (presented by Artists United Network)
Special showcases will highlight specific genres, including “Scares, Gore & Horror” for horror enthusiasts and “Beats, Reels and Rebels” for music video creators.

The festival kicks off with a pre-festival comedy showcase at Funny Bone on Thursday, December 4, setting the tone for a weekend of entertainment and inspiration. Key events include:

Submission Deadlines and Tickets
Creators are encouraged to submit their work via FilmFreeway by the following deadlines:
Earlybird Deadline: August 31, 2025
Regular Deadline: September 21, 2025
Late Deadline: September 28, 2025
Extended Deadline: October 5, 2025
Tickets for the festival are priced at $20 each, with proceeds benefiting both the Artists United Network and participating filmmakers. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available, offering businesses a chance to connect with a creative and engaged audience.
Filmmaker & Media Kickoff Event
To gear up for the festival, a special Filmmaker & Media Kickoff Event will be held on November 9, 2025, from 12–2 PM at the Westport Playhouse. This event will include a venue walk-through, an overview of festival rules, and a valuable networking opportunity for filmmakers and press.
