Washington, D.C. — The District of Columbia Hospital Association (DCHA) has selected Wellpoint DC President Adrian Jordan as a recipient of the 2025 Vincent C. Gray Health Equity Award—one of the highest honors awarded by the District’s hospital and provider community. The distinction is reserved for leaders whose work has created measurable impact in improving access to care and advancing the health of D.C. residents.

Named in honor of former D.C. Mayor and current Councilmember Vincent C. Gray, the annual award celebrates those who exemplify collaborative, community-centered efforts to address longstanding health barriers and elevate care in underserved neighborhoods.

Under Jordan’s leadership, Wellpoint DC has expanded partnerships that support maternal health, chronic disease management, language access, and housing insecurity. The organization continues to work closely with healthcare providers, schools, nonprofits, and community leaders to make care more connected and accessible.

The award will be presented at DCHA’s Vincent C. Gray Special Tribute Event on November 6, 2025.
