Wellpoint DC, in partnership with the Tryst Trading Company and Jubilee Housing, recently hosted a National Night Out event in Ward 1’s Columbia Heights neighborhood. The gathering brought together residents, community organizations, and local partners to promote public safety and strengthen neighborhood ties.
The event included music by DJ Storm, free food and refreshments, and activities suitable for all ages. Participants had the opportunity to connect with local vendors and organizations, including 93.9 WKYS FM, the U.S. Marines, and Hereās The Scoop.
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative aimed at building stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
