BENTONVILLE, AR – Jan. 19, 2026 — Walmart is building on its ongoing commitment to simple care. Therefore, the company continues its 2026 health momentum with The Wellness Event. This free, nationwide experience takes place on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026. You can visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Walmart stores across the country.
The event is designed to help customers feel informed and energized. Consequently, it brings together Walmart’s pharmacy, vision, and wellness teams. They will provide essential health screenings and guidance. Additionally, you can access affordable or no-cost immunizations*.
Exclusive Perks and Lower Prices
Furthermore, this year’s event offers something special. Customers can get exclusive wellness sample boxes. These are filled with nutrition-forward snacks and supplements. They also contain curated items to help you jump-start healthier habits throughout 2026. In addition, Walmart has lowered prices on over 1,000 wellness products.
A Trusted Community Destination
As you pursue your health goals for the year ahead, Walmart wants to help. It is deepening its role as a trusted, community-focused wellness destination. Currently, more than 4,000 stores are in areas with medical provider shortages. However, Walmart uses a helpful omnichannel approach to bridge this gap. This includes in-store pharmacies and Vision Centers. It also includes online tools, enhanced delivery options, and private Health Services rooms.
Moreover, this ensures convenient, accessible care wherever you are. Since 2014, Walmart’s wellness events have been very successful. In fact, they have delivered more than 5 million free health screenings. This underscores a strong commitment to supporting healthier communities nationwide.

New Services and Delivery Options
Earlier this month, Walmart announced the launch of Better Care Services. This gives customers instant access to a curated network of third-party, virtual care providers. Additionally, select providers are currently offering a $15 discount on certain telehealth services.
These initiatives showcase a commitment to simplifying care, trust, and wellness. To make staying on track even simpler, there is Walmart Pharmacy Delivery. This service brings prescriptions and everyday essentials straight to your door. It reaches more than 95% of U.S. households. Also, express delivery is available in as fast as 30 minutes.
What Customers Can Expect on Jan. 24
- Free health screenings: Get checks for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and BMI at nearly 4,600 Walmart pharmacies.
- Vision screenings: Enjoy complimentary screenings at select Vision Center locations.

- Expert Guidance: Speak with trusted Walmart pharmacists. They offer nutrition insights, medication support, and personalized recommendations.
