A St. Louis contractor is turning a local West End blighted space into progress. Introducing Bush Construction, and they have set up shop at Good Shepherd Academy For Boys construction site. The future home of young pre-school males. The pre-school will host an open house in the December of 2026, after renovation and new construction at 5927 Page, St. Louis, MO 63112.

I visited the site to take photographs, providing a detailed view of the area. The site borders Hamilton Heights to the north and the West End to the south. Both neighborhoods experienced minimal damage from the tornado that struck St. Louis on May 16th of 2025.

Good Shepherd Academy for Boys will be the first of its kind in the country to specifically educate young Black males from low-income households, bringing them up in a safe, nurturing, and culturally-sensitive environment.
