Tracie Berry-McGhee, a licensed therapist and founder of The SistaKeeper Empowerment Center and the I Define ME Movement, has dedicated her life to promoting mental wellness. Her work spans counseling, motivational speaking, and writing, impacting communities locally and globally.

Tracie Berry-McGhee is the founder of The SistaKeeper Empowerment Center established in 2002 and The I Define ME Movement.

Tracie Berry-McGhee champions mental wellness every single day. She founded The SistaKeeper Empowerment Center in 2002. Later, she started The I Define ME Movement. Furthermore, she hosts The Own Your Now Show. As a licensed therapist, Tracie helps young girls and women. Additionally, she writes books and travels the world as a motivational speaker. She guides girls to find their true purpose.

Growing a Global Mission

Tracie started her work in her own basement. Since then, her nonprofit has blossomed into a global force. It helps girls and families in St. Louis, across the U.S., and around the world. Above all, Tracie wants to support women. She inspires young girls to share their big dreams. They use journals and positive affirmations to map out their goals.

The Wellness Mobile and Joy

To expand her reach, she built The Wellness Mobile. This unit addresses mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Recently, Tracie added a new mascot named Joy. She created Joy to give girls a positive role model. Joy teaches self-awareness and mental health basics. She also promotes safe digital Literacy.

Tracie chose Joy for the I Define ME Movement because she spreads happiness everywhere. Besides speaking and counseling, Tracie writes engaging books. For example, she wrote Joy’s World of Selfies, WEsies and USies. This story follows a young girl who loves journaling and dreaming. Ultimately, it shows readers how to balance wellness with healthy screen habits.

Defining Yourself on Your Own Terms

SistaKeeper teaches girls a vital lesson. They must define themselves. They should never let society dictate who they are. In addition, the group celebrates women as dedicated keepers of the community. It ensures we see, support, and celebrate their unique visions.
