St. Louis, MO (Nov. 20, 2025) – St. Louis REALTORS® is celebrating a meaningful milestone: the percentage of both Black and Hispanic REALTORS® in its membership has doubled over the past several years, according to a 2025 St. Louis REALTORS® member profile survey.
The survey shows that Black REALTORS® comprised 15.46% of the Association’s membership in 2025, up from 7.58% in 2018. Hispanic REALTORS® grew to 3.21% of the membership in 2025, compared to 1.26% in 2023.
This growth represents far more than numbers. It signals an industry and an association that is increasingly reflecting the diverse communities they serve and a positive shift toward equity, representation, and opportunity.
“The growth of Black and Hispanic REALTORS® in our ranks is more than a statistic. It’s evidence that our industry and our Association are becoming what we’ve always aspired to be: a reflection of the communities we serve,” said Dan Sale, CEO of St. Louis REALTORS®.
Historically, Black and Hispanic residents in the St. Louis region have faced systemic barriers to homeownership. The increasing representation of REALTORS® from these communities brings lived experience and cultural understanding that strengthen the profession’s ability to expand access, build trust, and close long-standing gaps.
This progress is part of St. Louis REALTORS® ongoing Reimagining St. Louis Plan, a multi-year initiative aimed at creating equitable access to homeownership through data-driven strategy, community partnerships, and leadership development opportunities for underrepresented members.
“When REALTOR® members reflect the people and neighborhoods they serve, the entire region benefits,” Sale added. “It’s how we build stronger communities—one relationship at a time.”
