Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis: High School Hoops Showcase Returns!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is thrilled to announce the return of its Second Annual High School Hoops Showcase. This premier basketball event celebrates youth development, community engagement, and high-energy competition. The showcase will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Normandy High School’s Viking Hall, located at 6701 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Louis, MO 63133.

This exciting day of basketball will feature some of the top boys and girls high school teams in the region. Consequently, it brings together athletes, families, and fans for a celebration of local talent and community spirit. The event kicks off at 2:30 p.m. with a girls’ matchup between Hazelwood Central and Lutheran North. Following that game, a series of thrilling boys’ games will continue throughout the evening.

Showcase Lineup

  • 2:30 p.m. – Lutheran North HS vs. Hazelwood Central HS (Girls)
  • 4:00 p.m. – Lutheran North HS vs. Normandy HS (Boys)
  • 6:00 p.m. – University City HS vs. Lift For Life HS (Boys)
  • 7:30 p.m. – Vashon HS vs. Webster Groves HS (Boys)

In addition to the games, BGCSTL members DJ Adam Lion and DJ Magic will keep the energy high. They will provide music and entertainment throughout the event, adding to the electric atmosphere.

  • Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026
  • Tickets: $15 (cash only), available for purchase at BGCSTL Mathews-Dickey and Normandy High School.
  • Security: Clear bags only.

However, this showcase is more than just a basketball tournament. In fact, it is a full community celebration. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis aims to revive the tradition of high-level local high school basketball. At the same time, they want to provide a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes to shine. Furthermore, the event serves as a platform to inspire and engage the community, fostering connections and pride in local talent.

The mission of BGCSTL is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential. This is especially true for those who need us most, helping them become productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The organization provides after-school, teen, sports, and summer programs to youth across the Bi-State Region. As a result, they offer a safe and nurturing space for them to learn, grow, and thrive.

Currently, BGCSTL operates six locations. These include the Adams Park Club, Bethalto Club, Hazelwood Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Mathews-Dickey Club, and the Teen Center of Excellence. Additionally, the organization runs impactful programs like Mentor St. Louis and the St. Louis Internship Program.
