SMR PET SERVICES proudly serves the Greater St. Louis region, including surrounding Missouri counties and Illinois Metro East area. Our services span urban, suburban, and rural communities on both sides of the Mississippi River.
At SMR Pet Services, we believe pets deserve the best care, and guardians deserve peace of mind. Guided by our core values of Education, Rehabilitation, and Transformation, weâre all things petsâyour trusted partner for thoughtful, personalized care. From dog walking and vet transportation to pet matching, waste pick-up, obedience etiquette training, and even a wedding attendant service, weâre here to keep your furry family happy and thriving.
Weâre also building a strong pet community through our community initiative programs. Our Pawsitive Companion program brings pets to seniors and families for short-term visits, offering companionship, comfort, and joy when itâs needed most. Meanwhile, our Animal Allies program focuses on teaching kids social-emotional learning skills like empathy, responsibility, and respect for animals. Through this program, we use the unique bond between humans and animals to support rehabilitation, emotional growth, and critical thinking in childrenâhelping them build confidence and better connections with the world around them.
At SMR Pet Services, weâre more than pet careâweâre your partner in creating stronger bonds, happier homes, and a thriving pet community. Let us help solve your pet care needs while making life better for you, your pets, and our shared community.

The Heart Behind SMR Pet Services
Hi, Iâm Keena McBride, born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Iâm the founder of SMR Pet Services, where we specialize in pet empowerment, helping both pets and their guardians grow through education, rehabilitation, and transformation.
Iâm a pet enthusiast, nature lover, and a giver of knowledge. I love sharing my resources and insights to help others grow and succeed. Watching animals and their families reach their full potential is what truly excites me. Iâm dedicated to seeing rehabilitation turnarounds and helping all living beings flourish.
With a creative, energetic, and compassionate approach, Iâm deeply committed to making meaningful connections between animals and humans. Itâs not just a jobâitâs my passion. Every day offers an opportunity to create positive change, and thatâs what keeps me motivated in my mission.
