Felony Charges filed: The Prosecutor’s Office in St. Louis County
Charged Riverview’s mayor, Michael Cornell, Jr., with bounty.
At 39 years old, the charges are grim,
A tale of dark acts now tied to him.

Four counts of Statutory Sodomy, Second Degree,
Three counts of First Degree Sodomy, or attempts, you see.
One count of Harassment, First Degree in name,
And one for Child Pornography—of video fame.

From December ’16 to December ’17,
Confidential Victim 1 was under seventeen.
Cornell, it’s alleged, had repeated contact,
Sexual in nature, a criminal act.

In that same span, Victim 2 was led
To Cornell’s home, to his room, to his bed.
Face down, restrained, unable to fight,
The victim endured a horrific night.
An injury followed, the statement does say,
A scar from the trauma that won’t go away.

Fast forward to December of twenty-twenty-five,
Victim 3 was induced to arrive.
At Cornell’s home, the pattern repeats,
A sex act performed, then forceful defeats.
Face down again, the victim was pressed,
Injury followed, leaving them distressed.

From May to September of twenty-twenty-four,
Victim 4 endured harassment galore.
In a car, in an office, Cornell made his play,
Touching and comments in a sexual way.
The victim was left in emotional pain,
A pattern of torment, again and again.

In late December of twenty-twenty-five,
A video was found, keeping horrors alive.
On Cornell’s phone, the evidence lay,
Two juvenile males in a sexual display.

Now held on bond, a million in cash,
No ten percent, no easy dash.
The charges are heavy, the details grim,
A dark, tragic tale now tied to him.
