Georgia Southern University At SavannahTo Host W.E.B.DuBois’ Great-Grandson For “Reparations Trial”

(TUESDAY | 5.6.2025 | DETROIT) – Today, Image Geyser and Urban Information network (UIN) announced the acclaimed stage play Justice on Trial: Reloaded is set to stream May 31 in select cities.

Founded in 1906, at the height of segregation and Jim Crow, Georgia Southern University will host a historic live stage play in the Heart of Dixie–Savannah–at the Armstrong Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 31. The live Pay-Per-View event streams at 6pm ET | 5pm CT; with the live stream available on-demand through midnight (12am) Pacific Standard Time (PT); markets TBA.

A powerful narrative, enriched by innovative storytelling, Justice on Trial: Reloaded features time-traveling witnesses like W.E.B. Du Bois, played by his great-grandson of Jeffrey Du Bois Peck, Emmett Till (Chad Cooper II), Harriet Tubman, and Malcolm X, all making the case for reparations for the descendants of formerly enslaved Africans.

Justice on Trial presents a timely and impactful narrative driven by two civil rights attorneys who file a groundbreaking lawsuit against the United States of America, seeking a staggering $18 trillion in compensatory damages plus an additional $32 trillion in punitive damages for the suffering endured by the descendants of captured Africans over 240 years of slavery, with interest for more than 160 years of Jim Crow and Systemic Oppression.
