Between hosting holiday gatherings, decorating the house and getting gifts, those costs can add up quickly. Walmart has announced several ways families can stretch their budgets without sacrificing their favorite traditions:

  • A complete holiday meal for $35: Walmart’s new Holiday Meal Basket (see attached photo) serves 10 people for just $3.50 per person, with turkey, stuffing, classic sides and pumpkin pie. This year’s basket includes 18% more items but costs 12% less than last year.  You can access the full release here.
  • Gifts that don’t break the bank: Walmart has thousands of gifts under $20, plus 25 toys on its Top Toys list priced under $25. Walmart has also announced dates for its three major savings events: Early Black Friday (Nov. 12–15), Black Friday (Nov. 23–29) and Cyber Monday (Nov. 30–Dec. 2). Walmart+ members get early access.

For busy families, convenience can be just as valuable as savings. Walmart offers options to shop online, pick up in-store or have holiday essentials delivered in as little as 30 minutes, including the ability to order the entire holiday meal basket with one click.
