ST. LOUIS, Mo. (May 22, 2026) – HNTB Corporation celebrated the expansion of its St. Louis office with a ribbon-cutting event May 19 at One Metropolitan Square, joined by Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe, St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer, employees, clients and local leaders. The expansion reflects the firm’s continued growth in the region and its long-term commitment to supporting infrastructure needs across Missouri.

“Thank you, HNTB, for stepping up and committing to downtown,” Spencer said. “That shows leadership and partnership, and we are excited for your next chapter here.”

HNTB, an infrastructure solutions firm founded in 1914, has maintained a presence in St. Louis since 1998. The firm moved to the 29th floor of One Metropolitan Square in 2020 and, following five years of continued growth, expanded its office footprint to 6,807 square feet.

“When we identified the need for additional space, we knew we wanted to stay downtown,” said Travis Pfeiffer, PE, HNTB’s St. Louis location leader and associate vice president. “Our team loves it here, and we are excited to be part of the momentum building in St. Louis and the bright future ahead.”

HNTB’s work in the St. Louis region includes partnerships with the Missouri Department of Transportation, Metro, the city of St. Louis and other local city and county governments. The firm supports clients through planning, design, program management and other infrastructure services that help advance mobility, safety and economic growth.

“HNTB’s growth in St. Louis reflects our strong partnerships and shared vision with clients across the region,” said Pfeiffer.  “We’re proud to support transformative projects that improve mobility, enhance communities and create lasting impact for the people of Missouri.”

The expansion aligns with HNTB’s broader growth across the Central States and reinforces the firm’s commitment to delivering infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of communities throughout Missouri.
