College offers are rolling in for 14-year-old Zaila Avant-garde, the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion.
The President of LSU offered the teenager a full scholarship to its Honors college.
In a tweet Saturday, LSU President William Tate extended the offer to the Harvey, La. native.
Zaila Avant-garde @basketballasart performed at the highest level in the National Spelling Bee. Your academic performance reflected scholarship first! You modeled intellectual excellence. @LSU_Honors awaits. I write to offer you a full scholarship to attend LSU. Here for you! pic.twitter.com/LopV3bdeWI

But that’s not it.
On Friday, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System also offered the champion a scholarship to attend any community or technical college in the state, free of charge.
The future is bright for young Zaila, and I’m sure more offers will be coming in for the multitalented student.
