With the holidays approaching, families are juggling everyday expenses while figuring out how much they can afford to spend on gifts and celebrations. As they look for ways to cut costs, subscriptions and memberships are increasingly part of that calculation — especially when they’re paying separately for benefits they use every day.
Here’s some good news: For the first time ever, Walmart and Sam’s Club are offering two powerhouse memberships for one price. Beginning today, October 20, consumers can get both Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus together for $120 a year — almost $100 less than members were previously paying for separate memberships.
For the equivalent of $10 a month, shoppers get access to both memberships, including:
- Warehouse savings: Sam’s Club member-only pricing on groceries and everyday essentials.
- Free delivery: From Walmart and Sam’s Club.
- Streaming: Their choice of Peacock or Paramount+.
- Fuel savings: 10 cents per gallon at more than 17,000 participating stations.
- Sam’s Cash: 2% on eligible purchases.
Already a member of one or both services? You benefit, too: Walmart+ annual members can add Sam’s Club Plus for only $22 more a year, while Sam’s Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ at no additional cost. Customers already paying for both can link their accounts and may be eligible to receive a prorated Walmart+ refund.
For families weighing which expenses to keep and where to cut back this holiday season, this new offering gives them an opportunity to get more for less.
