ST. LOUIS – The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) is proud to recognize Lynn Ann Vogel as the recipient of the 2026 William L. Weiss Senior Lawyer Award. The award honors the legacy of William L. Weiss, a respected St. Louis attorney known for his leadership, professionalism and lifelong dedication to the legal community. Vogel will be honored at BAMSL’s Senior Lawyer Luncheon on July 15 at the Missouri Athletic Club – Downtown.

Throughout her distinguished career, Vogel has exemplified the leadership, professionalism, public service and dedication to the legal community that defines this prestigious honor. Vogel is known for her willingness to give time, energy, support and leadership to legal and charitable organizations and projects.

Vogel is a real estate and business attorney with more than 30 years of experience. She is the partner and co-founding member of Vogel Law Office.

Her commitment to the legal profession is reflected in decades of bar leadership. Vogel served as president of BAMSL in 2006-07 and later as president of The Missouri Bar. She has also served as BAMSL’s delegate to the American Bar Association, a member of BAMSL’s Board of Governors and Executive Committee, and a member of the Saint Louis Bar Foundation Board for more than 20 years.

“Lynn Ann Vogel’s career reflects a remarkable commitment to the legal profession and making a positive difference,” said BAMSL President Amy Rebecca Johnson. “She has distinguished herself as a leader as past president of both BAMSL and the Missouri Bar, an accomplished attorney, and volunteer and advocate for civic engagement.”

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Vogel has devoted significant time and energy to civic and charitable causes. Through her leadership and involvement with numerous nonprofit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, the St. Louis Internship Program, the Freedom Suits Memorial Foundation and the University of Missouri, she has helped strengthen educational, civic and community initiatives throughout the region. She was also a driving force behind the Freedom Suits sculpture, helping secure funding and shepherding the project through to completion.

“I am in awe of her multitude of different leadership positions and civic and charitable activities,” said Judge Edward Sweeney, Jr. (ret.), chair of BAMSL’s Senior Lawyers Committee. “Lynn Ann is an inspiration for her long service to both the legal profession and the community. She makes an impact on the community in so many ways.”
