The fourth annual Black Business Ball is set to celebrate Black excellence and highlight the accomplishments of Black-owned businesses this Sunday, October 8.

Presented by Black Business Enterprises, the red carpet preview for the elegant event starts at 5 p.m. The ball itself begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m.

This year’s theme is “A Night In Marrakesh,” which will celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the Moroccan city. “We want people to come in Moroccan-inspired attire, which is very colorful and vibrant. Come dressed like kings and queens, elegant and regal,” said Nancy Korsah, founder of Black Business Enterprises.

“We’ll have the atmosphere with a belly dancer, and Moroccan food.  We wanted to find something that would bring us a little bit of the culture to our city because we deserve it.”

The black-tie gala will uplift Black entrepreneurs, recognizing and presenting awards to business owners who are making a difference and making names for themselves.
