I’m Cori Bush.
I’m a nurse, pastor, single mom, and Ferguson-made activist running to represent MO-01 in U.S. Congress. As a lifelong St. Louisan, I understand the struggles of our communities because I’ve lived them myself. That’s why my platform puts regular, everyday people first, with solutions that are long overdue.
It’s time for change we can feel.
St. Louis consistently has the highest violent crime rates, the highest murder rates, and the most police shootings in the nation. For 20 years, we’ve suffered while complacent leaders line their pockets with corporate contributions. I witnessed the failures of our elected officials firsthand when I treated people as a medic on the streets of Ferguson.
This is our moment to make history.
Since 2014, I’ve fought for justice in our communities, and we have brought the fight from protest to politics. We are living through a history-making moment. When we face unprecedented challenges, we must respond with bold solutions and fearless leadership. I’m running for Congress because I am that champion.
