In honor of Women’s History Month, we decided to talk to some lady movers and shakers. On this occasion we decided on female comediennes.
Comedy is a tough enough business, regardless of the gender. The hierarchy for comedy, as you’ll hear these women say, is White male comedians, then black male comedians, then white female comediennes, and then finally black female comediennes.
t’s an uphill climb fighting, sexism, fighting for stage time, fighting to cancel culture, and trying to get on television. So, sit back and listen to what they all have to say.
