Curry broke the record early in the game, as he made a 3-pointer with 7:33 minutes left in the first quarter. And he has a chance to add more to the record before the night is over.

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, has done it! Curry has made history in one of the most historic buildings in NBA history. He became the All-Time leader in 3-point shots at Madison Square Garden.

Curry came into Tuesday’s game needing two more 3-pointers to pass NBA legend and sharpshooter Ray Allen as the All-time leader in 3-point shots made. Allen made 2,973 in his career to become the leader, and he did so in 2011 when he passed Reggie Miller. Now, Curry is officially the leader with 2,974. He also did it in 511 fewer games than Allen

The record adds to Steph Curry’s legacy, as he’s already a three-time NBA champion, a two-time MVP (going for a third), and a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Now, he’s officially the greatest 3-point shooter of all time.

Curry’s new record is incredible and something fans will cherish for years to come. And when it’s all said and done, his record will be hard to reach.
