In the NFL, after 14 weeks, no team has clinched a playoff berth. This is the latest that this has happened since the league moved to a 16 game schedule in the late seventies

Thursday night

Chiefs vs Chargers – The Chargers and Chiefs have been playing good football coming down the stretch, but the Chiefs have won 6 games in a row, rounding back into the juggernaut they were expected to be. Chiefs for the win.

Saturday December 18th

Raiders vs Browns – This is an even 50/50 match up.  But due to home field advantage I’ll go with Cleveland.

Patriots vs Colts – The Patriots are blazing a fast track towards clinching the AFC East.  Going with Bill Belichick and Mac Jones, Patriots win.

Sunday December 19th

Washington vs Eagles – Washington gets on the good foot to after slipping vs Dallas.

Packers vs Ravens – If #8 plays for Baltimore they have a chance, if he does not play, it’s a win for Greenbelt.

Panthers vs Bills – Bills win.  Panthers are still in search for a QB.

Cardinals vs Lions- Cardinals clinch a playoff berth.

Jets vs Dolphins – The Dolphins have turned their season around and may finish with a .500 record or above record after a rocky start, their late season turn around continues.  Fins get the W.

Cowboys vs Giants – Division games can always be tricky, but the Cowboys are just too good.  Boys win.

Titans vs Steelers – Steelers have been hanging on by a threat this season.  Ben Rothlisburger just is not it anymore, and they have no other viable options at QB this season.  Titans win.

Texans vs Jaguars – Don’t nobody care. But the dysfunction is so bad in Jacksonville that the Texans look like a stable organization in contrast.  Texans win the Battle for the number 1 pick bowl, as in by actually winning the game not by tanking to get the first pick.

Bengals vs Broncos – Two mediocre teams fighting for respectability.  Joe Burrow > Teddy Bridgewater.  That’s what it comes down to for me.   Bengals win.

Falcons vs 49ers – The 49ers have a better roster.  49ers win.

Seahawks vs Rams – Russell and his healing finger will have a tough time dealing with Von Miller and Aaron Donald.  Rams get the W.

Buccaneers vs Saints – Tom Brady beats a quarterback-less Saints team.

Monday  December 20th

Vikings vs Bears – Vkings stay in the playoff hunt with a win.

Fantasy Football Picks

Dak Prescott – QB – Start ‘em – I expect Dak to atone for a notso hot week against Washington.

Kyler Murray – QB – Start ‘em  I expect Kyler Murray to have a big number fantasy number.

Start the Rams defense – Seattle has been in a struggle with offense for the past several reps.  With

Aaron Donald and hopefully Jalen Ramsey back in the line up the Rams defense should roll over Russ’s

Seattle Seahawks team could be.
