This is the NFL’s first time having 7 playoffs spots per conference, and a huge Wild Card weekend including a Monday Night Football game.

This week since Fantasy Football season is more or less over I will be adding a special element of including point spreads and over and unders.

Now, let’s get to it.

Wild Card Saturday includes two intriguing AFC Match ups

Raiders vs Bengals – Vegas is coming off of a thrilling victory over the Chargers as the season finale in overtime.  The Raiders are playing for their Coach to keep his job.  They might be playing for the fate of their Quarterback Derek Carr, in terms of him staying a Raider.  I think their momentum, and having extra motivation, will help them overcome traveling nearly Coast to Coast and having a short week.

Bengals 5.5 point favorite.  The OverUnder is 48.5.  I’m picking the Raiders for outright win and upset. I think the over under is about accurate and won’t make a prediction on it.

Patriots vs Bills – The Bills are a 4 point favorite.  I believe the Patriots will find a way to win and get the upset, due to the experience and Coaching Genius of Bill Belichick.  Due to the cold weather, (it’s expected to be around 5 degrees at gametime.  The Overunder is 44.  I think due to the low temperature the score will be low, and betting the under might make a little bit of sense.

The 3 Sunday games

Bucs vs Eagles – Tampa Bay is an 8.5 point favorite.  I believe Tampa will win.  But there’s possible bad weather, and that favors Philly who have the NFL’s best running attack.  But the Bucs have Tom Brady and playoff experience.  I think the Eagles might make it close and they might be a decent bet to beat the 8.5 point spread.  But Tampa wins.   Not sure about them covering the spread.

49ers vs Cowboys -The Cowboys offense has been hot and cold, and the Cowboys defense when not turning people over is susceptible to giving up a lot of yards.  If the 49ers can not turn the ball over, and keep Dak and his cacophony of pass catching weapons in check they have a chance to win this game.  But in the end I think the Cowboys will win and cover the 3 point spread.   The over under is 51, I would play the under.

Steelers vs Chiefs – Pittsburgh and Big Ben say Bye Bye.  12.5 point spread and KC Covers it.  The Over under is 46.0.   I don’t expect Pittsburgh to score much but I do expect KC to explode on offense I would stay away from the Overunder.  But KC for the win and the cover.

Cardinals vs Rams – The Rams can rush the passer, they have Jalen Ramsey who can cover and they have lots of WRs who can catch the ball and a QB they have confidence in with Matt Stafford.   The Cardinals lost 4 of their last 5 to close out the season.  49.5 is the over under.  I’d take the under and the Rams to win and be the 4 point spread.
