Cynthia Mobley Howell, founder, and chief executive officer of Howell ARE YOU, is on a mission to end the stigma surrounding mental health conditions in the African American community.
She has forty plus years of experience related to sibling mental illness. Her prevailing message is, I’m Not Keeping Quiet Anymore #INKQA, which addresses the urgency of speaking Up and speaking OUT about mental illness.
Cynthia is an Ordained Minister, Speaker, #1 Best Selling Author, and Certified Coach. She has spoken on many platforms but the LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE TOUR which is an international platform that choses speakers from all over the United States and Canada is her most impressive to date.
She has been the featured guest on various talk shows where she has spoken very candidly about her experience with sibling mental illness.
The book anthology, I’m Still Standing, where she was one of 40 co-authors is an Amazon #1 Best Seller. Her chapter is titled, “Shhh…Don’t Tell Nobody”, and is a snippet of what her family faced surrounding mental health conditions.
She has written a memoir, “Crazy Didn’t Get Me”, which is a tell all about being raised in a household with siblings affected by a mental illness. The book is being released in 2021.

She currently resides in Central Florida and is a wife and mother.
