First Black CEO of 100-Year-Old Chamber of Commerce in Georgia “Amber Batchelor” Is Set to Host Luxury Women Retreat

Amber Batchelor,  HBCU graduate of Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is making history as she is set to host a Luxury retreat for women. Amber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in International Studies. She went on to study at the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management while serving in a Legislative staff role with the US Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington DC.

Batchelor is a veteran CEO, and strategic alignment expert, and was recently named President and CEO of the historic Sumter County Chamber of Commerce in Georgia. The HBCU graduate comes into the position with a multitude of experience working in Silicon Valley and Florida supporting businesses, non-profits, and municipalities with 17 years of engagement in the chamber industry.

Batchelor led the regional team to ensure access to $600 million in funding to develop South Georgia’s transportation infrastructure, Amber is now hosting a luxury retreat in Tucson, Arizona, for women entrepreneurs and professionals. The retreat is called Serenity Summer Series: A Women’s Wellness Weekend. 

This event is a unique curated all-inclusive luxury experience to cater to women, rejuvenating them on their journey seeking high-level strategic progress and vital energy for transformation, revitalization, and recovery.  Amber is inviting all women, mompreneurs, professionals, retirees, and all women to come on this journey and share their stories with one another and unwind. Amber states, “As women, we are only as strong as the collective of women we are brave enough to share our stories with. This experience is sure to ignite a mindful approach to life in balance.”

The Women’s Retreat will be held at Miraval Resort and Spa on June 22-24, July 20-22, and August 24-26.
