9/11 was a day of tragedy that affected us all across the nation. A day of sorrow that is etched in our minds forever.
On that fateful Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, the Al-Qaeda terrorist group carried out coordinated terrorist attacks on The United States of America.
2,996 people lost their lives in these attacks and left families heartbroken and confused. It was a time where we all banded together as Americans to help each other heal and fight back.
Now, 20 years later, on the anniversary of this painful day, I reached out to numerous people in the African American community to get their thoughts on what they think about 9/11 then and has anything changed 20 years later.
